Life ! Smile !

“Maybe you don’t like your job, maybe you didn’t get enough sleep. Well, nobody likes their job, nobody got enough sleep. Maybe you just had the worst day of your life, but you know, there’s no escape and there’s no excuse, so just suck it up and be nice.” - Ani DiFranco ‘Pixie’

Don’t let a bad day make you feel like you have bad life. Without bad days, how would you be able to know what a good day is like? You have to believe that when things are bad, You can change them. So be grateful about your bad day, it means that a good day is just around the corner. Com’on SMILE :)

Love ♥

Get over him. he's not even worth it. he is not worth your time or your tears. yeah, you loved him, i know that. & i know you just can't see yourself with anyone other than him, i get that. i've been there. but why should you spend all your time sitting at home, bawling your eyes out & wondering where he is & who he's with. do you honestly think he is thinking about you? no. sure it hurts, the fact that he is out there falling in & out of love with other girls. yeah, you're going to see him with one of his new girlfriends. prepare yourself, because straight up; it's gonna hurt. he will hold her a little closer, & squeeze her hand a little tighter just because he knows you're watching. he knows it's killing you; & that's why he will do it. don't let him get to you because that, well that's exactly what he wants. don't give him what he wants. he doesn't even deserve it. so what if he doesn't talk to you? do you honestly wanna be friends with him anyway? thing is, i know you still do. but give it time. because all he would do is talk about his new girlfriend & just try & make you jealous, & really do you want to hear that? no. so screw him & his girlfriend. he will be sorry, trustme. when he finally sees you with some other guy who's not him. with that huge grin on your face & your boyfriend holding you close, he will realize how happy you are now. & how happy your boyfriend is because he has you; the girl of his dreams. he will realize the huge mistake he made when he let you go, when he decided to choose her over you, when he decided that he just did not love you the same. trust me, he will be sorry. so don't go on spending your nights waiting for that one phone call you know you'll never get. or that IM you know he will never send you simply because he likes to ignore you. he likes to pretend he doesn't see you online, & he does it out of spite just because he knows it's killing you. when he walks past you in the hallways, he is gonna look past you, but you need to know he only does that because he knows somewhere deep inside you, it will hurt. i'm not gonna lie to you. it will hurt. it will hurt a lot. but it will hurt even more when you see her name & hoe much he loves her in his profile. it's all going to hurt. knowing you're not the girl thats making him smile. knowing you're not the first person he thinks of when he wakes up, & the last person he thinks of just before he goes to sleep. knowing you're not the face on his wallpaper. knowing you won't be spending every single moment possible with him. knowing there's not going to be anymore late night phone calls arguing about who loves who the most. & you know what? today, tomorrow, next week, or maybe months from now; your phone will go off with a text message, you will instantly grab your phone hoping it's him saying he wants to give your relationship another shot. but trust me; he's got too much pride. even if he wanted to get back together with you, he wouldn't tell you. you're soon going to realize he doesn't care about you anymore & he won't be the first person you think of calling when you're upset. he won't be the one to put that smile back on your face. & yeah, it's going to hurt; it's going to hurt a lot. but you know what you're going to do? you're going to hold your head up. you're going to show him you're better off without him, & you don't need him in your life. you're going to prove to him that he made the biggest mistake of his life by letting you go, & that you never really needed him anyway.

Someday!

This goes out to all of the people who have been broken but have been strong enough to let go. For the people who have hurt so badly that they felt they could never love again, but kept their head up. For those who feel like going back to their old lover would put all the pieces back where they belong and everything would fit, but accept the cold hard truth instead. For the people that learn from their mistakes and never stop moving forward, even when they take two steps back. For the people that wish loneliness wasn’t a part of them, but put up with it anyhow. For the people that are okay with taking up all of the room in the bed, even if sometimes it feels a little empty. For the people who wake up in the morning with no missed calls, but smile anyway. For the people that periodically miss the past, but are so much more excited for the future. For the people that have wounds still healing. For the people that have so much tied to their past relationship, but break those chains to start fresh. For the people that want to look back so badly, but focus on the road ahead. For the people that pick up the phone so tempted to call, but keep their dignity intact instead. For the people that never wanted to let go, but had to. For the people that still believe in love even after all of the hurt their heart has endured. For all the people that gave up not because they were weak, but because most times it’s better just to let go. We’ll get our happy ending someday! :-)

I might not be someone's first choice, but I am a great choice. I may not be rich but I am valuable. I don't pretend to be someone I'm not, because I'm good at being me. I might not be proud of some of the things I've done in the past, but I am proud of who I am today. I may not be perfect but I don't need to be. Take me as I am, or watch me as I walk away
♥♥!

if he misses you, he'll call just to hear your voice. if he wants you, he'll say it. and if he cares, he'll show it. if he has a thought about you, it will come out of his mouth. if you are on his mind non stop, he will do anything he can just to see you. if he truly likes you, he won't let anything get in the way and fight back just to keep you in his arms. if not, he's not worth
your time because you're obviously not worth his

Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it isn’t there. You can’t see the future, yet you know it will come. You can’t see
the air, yet you continue to breathe.

Quote of the day

We waste too much time putting ourselves down, so much that we don’t ever stop to see that we are truly good enough. We spend too much time with our heads down and hearts closed, and never get a chance to look up from the ground and see that the sun is shining and tomorrow is another day

Stay Sharp Story

Stay Sharp!

Once upon a time a very strong woodcutter asked for a job in a timber merchant, and he got it. The pay was really good and so were the work conditions. For that reason, the woodcutter was determined to do his best.

His boss gave him an axe and showed him the area where he was supposed to work. The first day, the woodcutter brought 18 trees.

"Congratulations," the boss said. "Go on that way!" Very motivated for the boss' words, the woodcutter tries harder the next day, but he only could bring 15 trees. The third day he tries even harder, but he only could bring 10 trees. Day after day he was bringing less and less trees.

"I must be losing my strength", the woodcutter thought. He went to the boss and apologized, saying that he could not understand what was going on.

"When was the last time you sharpened your axe?" the boss asked. "Sharpen? I had no time to sharpen my axe. I have been very busy trying to cut trees."

Our lives are like that. We sometimes get so busy that we don't take time to sharpen the axe." In today's world, it seems that everyone is busier than ever, but less happy than ever. Why is that? Could it be that we have forgotten how to stay sharp?

There's nothing wrong with activity and hard work. We all need time to relax, to think and meditate proper and continuous care for the family, to learn and grow. If we don't take time to sharpen the axe, we will become dull and lose our effectiveness. So start today. Think about the ways by which you could do your job more effectively and add a lot of value to it.

you still have hope ♥

If you can look at the sunset and smile,
then you still have hope.

If you can find beauty in the colors of a small flower,
then you still have hope.

If you can find pleasure in the movement of a butterfly,
then you still have hope.

If the smile of a child can still warm your heart,
then you still have hope.

If you can see the good in other people,
then you still have hope.

If the rain breaking on a roof top can still lull you to sleep,
then you still have hope.

If the sight of a rainbow still makes you stop and stare in wonder,
then you still have hope.

If the soft fur of a favored pet still feels pleasant under your fingertips,
then you still have hope.

If you meet new people with a trace of excitement and optimism,
then you still have hope.

If you give people the benefit of a doubt,
then you still have hope.

If you still offer your hand in friendship to others that have touched your life,
then you still have hope.

If receiving an unexpected card or letter still brings a pleasant surprise,
then you still have hope.

If the suffering of others still fills your with pain and frustration,
then you still have hope.

If you refuse to let a friendship die,
or accept that it must end,
then you still have hope.

If you look forward to a time or place of quiet and reflection,
then you still have hope.

If you still buy the ornaments,
put up the Christmas tree or cook the supper,
then you still have hope.

If you can look to the past and smile,
then you still have hope.

If, when faced with the bad,
when told everything is futile,
you can still look up and end the conversation with the phrase..."yeah...BUT.,"
then you still have hope.

Hope is such a marvelous thing.
It bends, it twists, it sometimes hides,
but rarely does it break.

It sustains us when nothing else can.
It gives us reason to continue and courage to move ahead,
when we tell ourselves we'd rather give in.

Hope puts a smile on our face
when the heart cannot manage.

Hope puts our feet on the path
when our eyes cannot see it.

Hope moves us to act
when our souls are confused of the direction.

Hope is a wonderful thing,
something to be cherished and nurtured,
and something that will refresh us in return.

And it can be found in each of us,
and it can bring light into the darkest of places.
NEVER LOSE HOPE!

There’s no need to rush. If something’s meant to be, it’ll happen. In the right time, with the right person, and for the best reason.

Be yourself

All I want to be is someone who creates truly meaningful things.

Saturday, 30 July 2011

You know that feeling?
That feelings as if you're on top of the world?
The feeling you get after your first date.
The feeling you get after you laugh with your best friend.
The feeling you get when meeting your idol.
That's how life should feel. Every day.

Quote of the day

There are three types of people that you meet. The ones you never should have met, the ones you never should have let go of, and the one that you've been looking for

Looking back i remember every moment where he made
me feel on top of the world. I was the world, not only that- I was
the sun, the moon, the sky, and all the stars in it. In those
moments, i was infinite, i was everything, and i was his.

Quote of the day

You can't force people to stay in your life because
staying is a choice, so be thankful for those who choose you.

Angels are the guardians of hope and wonder, the keepers of magic and dreams. Wherever there is love, an angel is flying by. Your guardian angel knows you inside and out, and loves you just the way you are. Angels keep it simple and always travel light. Remember to leave space in your relationships so the angels have room to play. Your guardian angel helps you find a place when you feel there is no place to go. Whenever you feel lonely, a special angel drops in for tea. Angels are with you every step of the way and help you soar with amazing
grace. After all, we are angels in training; all we have to do is spread our wings and fly!

Have a beautiful day

The Tea Cup...STORY

There was a couple who used to go to shop in the beautiful stores. They both liked antiques and pottery and especially teacups. One day in this beautiful shop they saw a beautiful teacup. They said, "May we see that? We've never seen one quite so beautiful." As the lady handed it to them, suddenly the teacup spoke.

"You don't understand," it said. "I haven't always been a teacup. There was a time when I was red and I was clay." My master took me and rolled me and patted me over and over and I yelled out, "let me alone", but he only smiled, "Not yet."

"Then I was placed on a spinning wheel," the teacup said, "and suddenly I was spun around and around and around. Stop it! I'm getting dizzy!" I screamed. But the master only nodded and said, 'Not yet."

Then he put me in the oven. I never felt such heat. I wondered why he wanted to burn me, and I yelled and knocked at the door. I could see him through the opening and I could read his lips as He shook his head, "Not yet."

Finally the door opened, he put me on the shelf, and I began to cool. "There, that's better," I said. And he brushed and painted me all over. The fumes were horrible. I thought I would gag. "Stop it, stop it!" I cried. He only nodded, "Not yet."

Then suddenly he put me back into the oven, not like the first one. This was twice as hot and I knew I would suffocate. I begged. I pleaded. I screamed. I cried. All the time I could see him through the opening nodding his head saying, "Not yet."

Then I knew there wasn't any hope. I would never make it. I was ready to give up. But the door opened and he took me out and placed me on the shelf. One hour later he handed me a mirror and said, "Look at yourself." And I did. I said, "That's not me; that couldn't be me. It's beautiful. I'm beautiful."

"I want you to remember," then, he said, "I know it hurts to be rolled and patted, but if I had left you alone, you'd have dried up. I know it made you dizzy to spin around on the wheel, but if I had stopped, you would have crumbled.

I knew it hurt and was hot and disagreeable in the oven, but if I hadn't put you there, you would have cracked. I know the fumes were bad when I brushed and painted you all over, but if I hadn't done that, you never would have hardened; you would not have had any color in your life.

And if I hadn't put you back in that second oven, you wouldn't survive for very long because the hardness would not have held. Now you are a finished product. You are what I had in mind when I first began with you."

God knows what He's doing (for all of us).He is the Potter, and we are His clay.

He will mould us and make us, So that we may be made into a flawless piece of work To fulfill His good, pleasing, and perfect will.

Have a wonderful day ahead :)

Quote of the day

" Stop planning your life... live it!"

BE HAPPY

So stop waiting until you finish school,
until you go back to school,
until you lose ten pounds,
until you gain ten pounds,
until you have kids,
until your kids leave the house,
until you start work,
until you retire,
until you get married,
until you get divorced,
until Friday night,
until Sunday morning,
until you get a new car or home,
until your car or home is paid off,
until spring, until summer, until fall, until winter,
until you are off welfare,
until the first or fifteenth,
until your song comes on,
until you've had a drink,
until you've sobered up,
until you die,
until you are born again
to decide that there is no better time than right now to be happy...

The Window" (Author unknown)

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man  was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour a day to drain the fluids from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.
The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and   families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military  service, where they had been on vacation. And every afternoon when the  man in the bed next to the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.
The man in the other bed would live for those one-hour periods where  his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and  color of the outside world. The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake, the man had said. Ducks and swans played on the water while  children sailed their model boats. Lovers walked arm in arm amid flowers of every color of the rainbow. Grand old trees graced the landscape, and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance. As the man by the window described all this in exquisite  detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene.
One warm afternoon the man by the window described a parade passing by.  Although the other man could not hear the band, he could see it in his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive  words. Unexpectedly, an alien thought entered his head: Why should hehave all the pleasure of seeing everything while I never get to see  anything? It didn't seem fair. As the thought fermented, the man felt  ashamed at first. But as the days passed and he missed seeing more sights, his envy eroded into resentment and soon turned him sour. He   began to brood and found himself unable to sleep. He should be by that  window - and that thought now controlled his life.
Late one night, as he lay staring at the ceiling, the man by the window  began to cough. He was choking on the fluid in his lungs. The other man   watched in the dimly lit room as the struggling man by the window groped for the button to call for help. Listening from across the room, he never moved, never pushed his own button which would have brought the nurse running. In less than five minutes, the coughing and choking  stopped, along with the sound of breathing. Now, there was only silence--deathly silence.
The following morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths. When she found the lifeless body of the man by the window, she was saddened and called the hospital attendant to take it away--no  words, no fuss. As soon as it seemed appropriate, the man asked if he  could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.
Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his   first look. Finally, he would have the joy of seeing it all himself. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed. It faced a blank wall.

Moral of the story:
The pursuit of happiness is a matter of choice...it is a positive attitude we consciously choose to express. It is not a gift that gets delivered to our doorstep each morning, nor does it come through the window. And I am certain that our circumstances are just a small part of what makes us joyful. If we wait for them to get just right, we will never find lasting joy.
The pursuit of happiness is an inward journey. Our minds are like   programs, awaiting the code that will determine behaviors; like bank vaults awaiting our deposits. If we regularly deposit positive, encouraging, and uplifting thoughts, if we continue to bite our lips  just before we begin to grumble and complain, if we shoot down that seemingly harmless negative thought as it germinates, we will find that there is much to rejoice about.

Building Your House Story

An elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his employer-contractor of his plans to leave the house-building business to live a more leisurely life with his wife and enjoy his extended family. He would miss the paycheck each week, but he wanted to retire. They could get by.

The contractor was sorry to see his good worker go & asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favor. The carpenter said yes, but over time it was easy to see that his heart was not in his work. He resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end a dedicated career.

When the carpenter finished his work, his employer came to inspect the house. Then he handed the front-door key to the carpenter and said, "This is your house... my gift to you."

The carpenter was shocked!

What a shame! If he had only known he was building his own house, he would have done it all so differently.

So it is with us. We build our lives, a day at a time, often putting less than our best into the building. Then, with a shock, we realize we have to live in the house we have built. If we could do it over, we would do it much differently.

But, you cannot go back. You are the carpenter, and every day you hammer a nail, place a board, or erect a wall. Someone once said, "Life is a do-it-yourself project." Your attitude, and the choices you make today, help build the "house" you will live in tomorrow. Therefore, Build wisely!

This is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will. You can
waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever; in its place is something that you have left behind... let it be something good.

Let us be the final piece of your success

Be happy again. Find out what makes you happy. It might be hard and you might think it's not possible; but nevertheless, I would like for you to try. The world is a better place  :)when you smile
